(19:45) Kick Off [ 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 ]
(19.54) Gills have had possession deep in the host's half for much of the minutes since kick off. A Gills free kick struggles to get cleared. Andrews recycles and heads to Smith who, on the edge of the 6 yard box, wants a second touch instead of shooting first time with the right side of net vulnerable.
(19.56) A through ball to Hale finds him left side of the penalty area. He takes a couple of touches, pivots onto his right foot and forces a quick impulse save at the near post.
(20.01) GOAL! Chesterfield 1-0 Gillingham: Curtis
(20.21) Swinkles receives a long throw from one side of the pitch to the other. He drives forward and shoots and Morris has to palm the shot away.
(20.30) One minute will be added to the half.
(20.31) Half time 1-0 [46:09]
Chesterfield are unbeaten in the 10 games that they have led at half time. However, 5 of those have ended in draws making their 50% win percentage when ahead at the break the joint lowest in League 2.

(20.47) The second half kicks off.
(20.48) A very strong Gills header back from distance almost falls perfectly for the foot of Grigg who collects the ball but finds the brick wall of Morris straight ahead and loses possession.
(20.49) A floated cross by Hutton is perfect for the head of McKenzie who is unmarked and in space. He gets a very strong header in at goal but he lacks accuracy.
(20.52) The Gills send a corner in. As the 'keeper comes to collect, it's headed away from him and falls into a gaggle of players. With the 'keeper stranded, the Gills can't find the gap. They claim handball before Dack stabs it wide.
(21.03) Max Clark clears a Chesterfield shot as deep on the goalline as possible. The home side are furious that only a corner was awarded as they are convinced it was handball.
(21.06) Gale concedes a corner as he slid in just as Grigg was about to slot home. From the corner, the ball goes to the far side of the penalty area where Duffy curls a shot towards the unguarded side of the Gills net but just wide.
(21.17) Duffy and Berry break. Duffy opts to go it alone and his strong shot on target forces Morris into a save which he spills and gathers at the second attempt.
(21.18) A Gills corner is headed away only as far as Dack whose looping header floats onto the roof of the net.
(21.22) Vokes heads forward for Hale who controls the ball, pivots with his back to goal and volleys narrowly over the bar.
(21.31) Chesterfield stream forward and Pearce shoots for the far post. Somehow, it goes wide and misses a couple of Gills defenders streaming back.
(21.32) The 4th official indicates a minimum of 6 minutes additional minutes will be played.
(21.38) FULL TIME 1-0 [97:29]
