We are a lower league club with a passionate, but lower league fan base. We have no "History" and we have tried higher level managers, non-league managers and player managers. Without a Russian money launderer (Bournemouth) or con man (Portsmouth) we will stay in the two lower leagues. Look at the average wages in the Championship and work out how we could afford them. We competed for 5 seasons when money was lower, but eventually lost players who would rather sit on the bench for almost doublé they would get for being a starter at a smaller team.
