Firstly I don't agree GFC will not need nine wins (27 points) to stay in the First Division, we have 28 points from 26 games and I think 48 points will keep us up, 50 defiantly will ,that's 20 points from 20 games, and yes I think we will be fighting till the last few games, unless a new manager comes in and turns this thing around in a couple of games ,but we will be OK.
Although todays 3-1 win over Coventry was great, both the reports I have read say we were second best and Coventry should consider themselves unlucky not to have at least shared the points, I was not there so can not comment.
February scares me , I hope I am wrong,we need to pick up 9 against Oldham, Yeovil and Barnsley, and hope we find Sheff U, or MKD having an off day, maybe picking up a point going to P'trborgh we will then be left with 38 points on the board needing 10 possible 12 from the remaining 13 or so games which should be obtainable,he says unable to use the key board because all his fingers are crossed, hahaha.
To early to panic yet my dear Miss Fanny Mulligan, start getting concerned that first week in March if were still in the red zone.
