Luke Norris back (almost)

Postby Garawa » Wed Dec 09, 2015 11:00 am

So apparently Norris is back in training and could return for Millwall a week on Saturday. I feel we have struggled to score a little bit since losing him and Dack benefited from Norris pulling defenders about. With Dack starting to show his stuff again and Cody showing glimpses of his old self (not to mention entering into the period when he historically scores most of his goals) this could be an exciting period!

Where this leaves Donnelly I'm not sure who fluctuates between poor and amazing with little or nothing in between. I presume also that we won't then extend Samuel's loan deal when it expires tomorrow?

10 minutes after posting I see a post that says Samuel does indeed extend his loan spell! Interesting fitting in Norris, Samuel, Donnelly, Cody and Dack who all want/expect to score every game!

I think that as long as we are able to keep players of Samuel's quality then we have to play them, even if that annoys others. It can only improve the performances of the other players as well to have him around. Nothing to lose as far as I can see.
