Most of Charlton's shots stats involved ones that simply trickled to Holy. Even I could save it. It's still a shot on target but one off target might be more dangerous (deflection etc). 3 came within 2 seconds for a great triple save so the stats don't tell the tale of the match.

So if stats mean so little why are you bothering to put up all manner of stats to each game ??

I haven't posted any stats about any of the matches only some collective facts which over the course of a season tell a LOT more a single match could. For example there were only 3 shots on target in the game between Doncaster and Scunthorpe (who won 1-0). That doesn't mean the game was boring or that both sides are useless in front of goal because Scunny actually average almost 6 on target per game. Likewise with Charlton, just because they had a large number of shots in the game, doesn't mean they were all over us.

Well you beloved BBC Football site wrote and I quote.................The Home side (thats Gillingham FC) weathered wave after wave of pressure in the first half to take an unexpected lead on 53 minutes", I just tell it as I read it.

And that makes everything Wonderful In The Land Of The BIG BLUE Machine. It's OK for you , you live in a place where you can breath ,eat, and talk GILLINGHAM FC, come here to Chicago and try and find someone who even knows what the First Division IS, no bar here I can go to where I can have a good "debate" about Gillingham, but OK as it seems to upset you so much I will drop any discussions on here with anyone.
