Experimenting.

Postby lidbid46 » Fri Sep 21, 2012 12:08 pm

Just having a go Gary! Well done; this is quite exciting, and an honour to make the first post apart from your introduction! So glad to have a board back, especially with the way the season has begun. I have missed coming onto the board full of excitement after another win! The atmosphere on Tuesday was so exciting that I really wanted to carry on talking all things Gills when I returned home! I hope all the regulars from the old board start posting soon and that we can attract a whole lot of new posters as well. Come on you Gills!!!

Thanks Lidbid. Hopefully, when Peter sends out the Noircat email next week, they will see it and then sign up. How many of them used throw away addresses I don't know so hopefully quite a few will join. This is by far a more enjoyable board, more to it and more usuable for the individual. Here's to many successful postings although it will take a few weeks to settle in.

Did you see my Facebook message?

By the way, just a small thing; not sure the post count is working. I know that is important to some people and it helps to see whether posters are new or not.

I was wondering why I had 1 and you 0! Another setting I may have missed. This is partly why I want us to use it first and iron out problem before opening it up to others. As for moderation, it looks really simple. There will be an option at the top left that says moderator control panel and that houses everything however mostly you might message me with any problems or just edit posts as if you were editing your own.

Now to check Facebook again as I seem to keep missing messages!

Its been brilliant so far! I saw the home games against Bradford City and Chesterfield. Looking forward to the games coming up at Northampton and Oxford as they are both just up the road for me! Think that the signing of Robbie Findley is a very good signing, however, I think that Ben Strevens and Adam Birchall should have been given an oppotunity before we went and got another player on loan, especially as its only a month!

I'm going to the Oxford game; looking forward to it. Been to Barnet and D and R away plus all the home games and have really enjoyed them all. Great to sing, "we are top of the league!"

Another great win and by the sound of it a comfortable performance. I was a bit worried when I saw the team, but once again MA knew what he was doing! What a start!!!

About bl**dy time what the hell took you so long lol, lol. As Kezz would say wwooowww wwwooowww thank the good lord that we have a proper site to post on.
Well done Gary, as from this day forth,( and fifth), I promise never ever to say anything bad about you, ever again. Dam this bl**dy rheumatism in my hands hurts like hell when I have my fingers crossed. Seriously Well done buddy.
I see Mr Noircat is frolicking around the South of France while you slave away over a hot key board getting the site up and running? Well get all the credit you can now, he will be back in a week or two to grab the glory.
Talking of working , Lidbid you got a part time job yet, lol, Mrs. L says you being retired is driving her nuts, always under her feet makes the guy from One Foot In the Grave look like a Saint compared to you she said. Enjoying your retirement, hope so ?
OK once again Gary well done, family OK, and what about them GILLS.

Great win at Vale today, and so many away points in one season, fantastic stuff. To think it was only a couple of years ago we could not win outside the friendly confines of Prestfield, now we can not loose ANYWHERE. Promotion(automatic) FA Cup (no doubt) what a wonderful year it is going to be.
Well done Scally (and Mrs. Scally)for bringing in a "proper" manager . Sorry Hessy no offense, but this is what we have needed since old misery guts Pullis left.
Well done the whole dam lot of you.
