Crewe (A)

Postby Kent_UckyFriedGills » Wed Sep 25, 2013 4:38 pm

No one needs to say that this is a big game for us.Losing to Bradford on Saturday keeps the pressure high. For me this is a tougher game than Bradford with the good football they play, and they recently outplayed Peterborough for a lot of their 2-2 draw.

What Team would you like us to pick? We want to be tight at the back, but still with an attacking threat.

Martin Allen went back to 4-4-2 for Bradford and said afterwards that he got the tactics wrong and berated the players. I have a nasty suspicion that whatever the team is it is going to be very different!!!

Don't care if we play Donald Duck , Mickey Mouse and Goofy up front , just win the F lipping game.
I think MA should come out and say he is putting his best team ,the team HE has chosen to lead us out of the depth of the First Division to greatness, on the field to carry his banner into battle, then if God forbid we loose Scally should FIRE HIS A** there and then.
Still think we get a least a 2-2 draw, might even sneak a 2-1win,and then it will be up ,up and AWAY.

I feared a defeat, but it sounded like we completely outplayed Crewe today.I only remember Nelson making a couple of saves.Once Cody scored we seemed to have confidence and took control of the game.I have just seen the goals and Martin`s freekick was very well taken. It was nice for Barrett to get a goal aswell.Young Davies came in for Legge and helped keep a clean sheet which is good, and I expect we will keep the same Team for MK Dons, and rightly so.

This was not only our first win of the season, but our first away win in League One since Huddersfield away in 2008.Hopefully this result will be the start of our season.
