Noircat Cup Round 2 Review

Round 2 is now over with only 1 team securing a place in Round 3 from the Rotherham replay; congratulations to Gary Piper who beat Canterbury Gills. The other 4 ties saw the home advantage rule applied so progressing through from those included the lowest ranked side Roys Rover's and the highest ranked side Gillsfan 1066 who squeezed past Mexana after each had predicted the same outcomes of all three matches!

Earlier in Round 2 Jardin Gill knocked out Matt Bowles, Kentucky Fried Gills disposed of Elgrande, Cadburyman utilised the Stevenage replay to beat Silly Maltz and so too did Gills All the Way to get passed Goalmouth and the second lowest ranked side Kiwi Gills beat Ganashi some 52 ranking places higher.

Round 3 kicks off on Boxing Day in the home match against Leyton Orient and the replays will be the home match against Walsall on the 29th and Stevenage away on New Years Day.
