Leyton Orient (H)

Postby Kent_UckyFriedGills » Mon Dec 23, 2013 5:20 pm

We have a tough match on Boxing day, where we take on the League leaders Leyton Orient at Priestfield. They have one win in their last six games, but they have been missing a few key players. This will be a tough test, but if we play like we did against Peterborough we could get something from the game. The biggest concern will be will we be able to play a good enough side with quite a few players out injured, and will the pitch be waterlogged?

Team? I wont predict a Team as we don't know who will be available.I would take a draw now though.

The injuries are getting a concern. We seem to be back to losing players in training again. Leyton Orient lost at home to Crawley (who were 3-1 up at one point) in their last game and virtually everyone thought they would fall down the table so maybe this is the start of it. Crucially Crawley sounded like they took their chances, something we have been quite lapse in recently.

I listened to the game, and particularly in the first half it did sound like we deserved our lead.Great for Bayo to continue his scoring streak.Orient did seem better in the second half, but going by the commentary they said we deserved atleast draw from the game.I thought it might be our day when Nelson saved the penalty, but it wasn`t to be.Another late goal conceded hurts as we have done it so many times this season.Luckily we have a game in three days time to try and put it right.

Young Hessy was praised again,i`m glad we have found a great young talent to give us more quality in Midfield.
