Players to fit a particular role or piece of the jigsaw eh Rob? Rather than getting whoever was available and trying to make a team out of them. That has to be good, and Taylor says he wants another defender. Quite where that leaves the current crop I don't know. Perhaps we won't be so reliant on loans as at this level it is settled sides that win games, not giving players rests for the sake of it. Just ask Orient fans.

Looking on Youtube Norris has scored a couple of crackers while out on loan at Dagenham, and Northampton. He is only young and seems quite highly rated.I`m hoping he will do well for us,and be more a Cody McDonald, than Antonio German.Egan looks a real coup, after Clubs like Blackburn were interested in him.He will have had a good upbringing at Sunderland, and he has played at nearly all levels of the Republic of Ireland National Team.If you read the Southend forum they seem really bitter about him leaving, which is a good sign.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).

Noticed there was more then a few tears being shed on the Southampton forum about Egan leaving, and the Language on the Swindon and Sheffield Utd. forums was pretty disgusting as well regarding his departure, lol.
