We got our wish as we have been drawn at home to Leyton Orient.Probably the best tie we could get on paper.Games will be played on the week commencing the 8th December :) .

Same result as yesterday will be nice as well :D

We avoided Bristol City which is what we all hoped for, but a home tie against Leyton Orient is probably the most winnable on paper, although Leyton Orient will also be saying the same-thing themselves.

Our Area Semi-Final game against Leyton Orient has been brought forward from Tuesday 9th December,to Saturday 6th December with KO at 3:00pm.I think this is a sensible move as both Teams have a free week after being knocked out of the FA Cup.You would hope we will get a bigger crowd, but at the moment the Club are only opening the Medway Stand to fans.

I actually think that this is a good idea because we will get a higher then usual attendance for A Football League Trophy Match on a Saturday Afternoon rather then playing on a Tuesday Evening.

I wouldn't normally think that would be the case but in recent seasons we have had 7pm kick-offs to get more young fans in however that can still be gone 9.30 if penalties occur and that is too late for many. Cheaper tickets and a Saturday afternoon could get a large number of youngsters which has to be good.

Bristol City beat Coventry 2-0,so we will play Bristol City over two legs. The draw will be made at 10am tomorrow to decide who will play at home first.

I would of preferred the home draw as The Second Leg rather then playing Bristol City at Priestfield Stadium first.

Gillingham have got to win the first match against Bristol City to stand any chance of reaching The Football League Trophy Final, I am not confident that we will get anything at Ashton Gate so we need to make sure that Gillingham are in a winning position going into The Second Leg.
