I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................
--------------------------------Nelson-------------------------------------
Hoyte--------------Legge----------------Egan-------------------Chicksen
-----------------Hessenthaler------------Loft----------------------------
McGlashan-------------------Linganzi--------------------------Dickenson
-------------------------------Kedwell------------------------------------
Subs: G.Morris (GK), Hause, Pritchard, Dack, Norris, McDonald, German
With Kortney Hause back and available for selection I am hoping that Peter Taylor doesn't go for the 3.5.2 / 5.3.2 system, the last two matches against Bristol City and Fleetwood Town have seen this system fail and I rather see Gillingham pack the midfield rather then packing the defence, also I don't see either McGlashan or Dickenson starting in this formation and we need both of these two starting so that they can use there pace to get in and behind Bradford City's defence.
The back five picks itself and I would like to see Amine Linganzi playing as a supporting striker behind Danny Kedwell, last week against Leyton Orient we had Michael Doughty, Doug Loft and Jake Hessenthaler all playing in-front of the back four and I would much prefer it if Jake Hessenthaler and Doug Loft played in-front of the back four and Amine Linganzi played behind Danny Kedwell, we could play Bradley Dack in this position behind Danny Kedwell, but I think Amine Linganzi's physical presence can cause Bradford's defence a lot of problems.
This means that Cody McDonald will be named among the subs again, I think Peter Taylor needs to keep Cody McDonald motivated, should Cody McDonald score from the bench tomorrow then I would start him the following week, I know he scored the winner last weekend, but in recent weeks Cody McDonald hasn't been his usual self and I think naming Cody among the sub again might give him a kick up the backside to try and earn his spot back in the starting eleven again.
Four of us are going up via car tomorrow and it will only be £18 to Bradford City and back - although it means another early start as we leave from Rainham at 7AM, hopefully we come back from Bradford City with all three points - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!
