Cody McDonald is one of three players currently at the club I would be prepared to offer anything to ensure they remain at Gillingham Football Club - with the other two players being Stuart Nelson and John Egan.

I would offer Cody McDonald a three year deal because it appears that with a young family that Cody McDonald wants the security of a long term contract, I also think that Cody McDonald has been Gillingham's Best Striker in The Post Championship Era with Simeon Jackson Second, Danny Kedwell Third, Adebayo Akinfenwa Fourth and Deon Burton Fifth.

Goalscorers are like gold dust.For me we should sort Cody`s deal out as soon as possible.Even without Bayo he has 11 goals this season,and he will surely reach 17 goals again.His Gills record is 57 goals in 124 games,and he is in the top 10 all time goalscorers at the Club.Cody has shown a desire a number of times to sign a new contract,lets hope we repay Cody`s loyalty.
