I have voted for John Marquis who had an outstanding game.He was full of running,he scored two calmly finished goals,he got back for defensive duties as well.He played like a younger Danny Kedwell. He certainly looks a great loan signing on what we have seen so far.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).

Kent_UckyFriedGills,KFG for short.

I have voted for John Marquis who took both of his goals exceptionally well with two well placed finishes.

But it wasn't just his goals that I was impressed with, I thought John Marquis's all round play and commitment to the cause was fantastic, once again Marquis showed how good he is as a target-man by holding the ball up, laying the ball off and running into the channels, also John Marquis cleared the ball off the line to preserve Gillingham's 3 - 2 lead.

Fair play to the coaching staff for taking John Marquis off late on, so that we could give the young striker the standing ovation that his performance richly deserved on Saturday.

Just goes to show that stats don't tell the whole story! 8-)

You're dead right! I felt that was the case earlier in the season when we had played some good games even though on paper looked well out of it. That's the beauty of it I suppose.
