Going for something a bit diiferent. Jermaine has been massively impressive in recent games for me and deserves man of the match even though he was only on the field for 11 minutes! He scored the winner and assisted the other and up until then we hadn't managed a shot on target. In my commentary I said the game was getting a little stale and McGlashan would cause Utd some trouble.....I didn't appreciate WHAT an impact he would have had!

Good point Gary, but over the whole game I thought Bradley Dack had a fantastic game. He worked so hard, tackled well and passed intelligently. Best game I have seen from him; I hope he carries on like that.

I thought Max Ehmer was fantastic defensively for Gillingham and he fully deserved to have his name announced as Man Of The Match inside the ground as well.

Winning the vast majority of his defensive headers, bailing Stuart Nelson out when he dropped the ball (even though it was Ehmer's sliced kick in the first place, but Ehmer did re-deem himself with the defensive clearance), and preventing Jamie Murphy from getting a shot off on goal when I thought that Jamie Murphy was going to score.

There were many top level performances from John Egan, Doug Loft, John Marquis, Gavin Hoyte and Cody McDonald, plus Jermaine McGlashan made a real difference when he came on, but I thought Max Ehmer was superb, and Max Ehmer and John Egan have built up a excellent defensive partnership between the two of them as well.
