When you look at the Gills results for the year there really not THAT bad, I guess.?
Yes our away record stinks and thanks all the top teams for winning yesterday, but the only thing that really stands out as awful in my mind is the 0-3 drubbing at home by Scunny and last weeks stupid 2-2 draw at the worst team in the division.
Two wins there and we would have, could have, should have, been in the top seven. The top six seem to have it pretty well sewn up,but that 7 th spot could be snatched by anyone of ten teams including the mighty Gills in the running.
At least the were back on track in the games played column, most of the teams around us have played 31 or 32 games, and looking at the rest of the schedule I can see us ending up with around the 60/63 point mark maybe 9th or 10th in the table, which I guess is all we can hope for after the way we were staring relegation in the face a few weeks ago.
One or two big away wins and things could change in a heart beat, but maybe that's expecting a bit to much this year??lol
