Millwall and Wigan relegated

Postby Garawa » Tue Apr 28, 2015 10:10 pm

I bet Steve Evans is fuming tonight after his Rotherham side won and ensured their Championship status remained intact for next season at the expense of Millwall and Wigan. I do feel for the bloke, his life is one disaster after another.

There is hardly a lot to play for now in the Championship and League 2, all the action is in League 1 and I won't see much of it being in the ground! Love a last day tussle to avoid the drop or a 94th minute missed pen to lose a title!

Yeah a trip to the Den for us next season,i`m hoping it will be in August or September nice and early into the season.Wigan coming down just shows how quick you can fall,as they only won the FA Cup 2-3 seasons ago.I guess you can say they`re back where they belong. Will they spend big to get out? Add in Blackpool who taste the Premier League a few seasons ago. They have millions in the bank from the Premier League, but their fans are angry that none of it gets spent and they keep on falling down.

The Rotherham United Supporters were going to lift Steve Evans above there shoulder's, but there was only 11,123 inside The New York Stadium Last Night :)

Blackpool and Wigan Athletic will be new stadium's for me to go to next season, and it will be nice to go to The New Den Again, although traveling to Millwall Away will have to be via Supporters Coach, because coaches get into the back of the away end, and you want to get in and get out of Millwall as quickly as you can.

With John Marquis scoring on a regular basis for Gillingham, Millwall are more likely to offer John Marquis a permanent contract in the summer.

Neil Harris has been named as the permanent Millwall manager,so I think that reduces our chances of signing Marquis greatly.
