Gills sign Max Ehmer

Well this looked fairly certain and yet when news broke it went down a storm! Gills seem to be doing the right sort of business building a team that will be fairly unchanged of really good young players! Ehmer is one of those that is hard to tell if he is high championship level at least or not as many drop down due to not being good enough but I don't think he is, a like Doughty who worked his way into the first squad. What with Donnelly coming with high regards, a good pre-season building and sticking to a shape coupled with continuing the form we ended last season in and it could be an interesting campaign!

I`m very pleased that we have signed Ehmer.His partnership with Egan as we saw last season worked really well.We have had a decent Summer of signings so far,only missing out on Marquis.
